In line with its motto “Easy to use – It’s in our DNA”, Welsh frequency inverter specialist Invertek offers devices that perfectly complement the MOLL-MOTOR product range.
The Invertek product range impresses with its user-friendly operating concepts, robust housing variants with a high degree of protection and a large number of globally available mains voltages: (115V, 230V, 400V, and 500V).

Inverters with increased protection class (IP66/NEMA 4X up to 37 kW and IP55 up to 250 kW) – suitable for harsh environments
In many industrial applications, it is necessary to install frequency inverters directly at the point of use, e.g. on conveyor systems, pump systems or external motors – the control cabinet does not always provide the necessary protective environment. Invertek Optidrive series are optionally available in robust enclosures that offer a high level of protection against dust, splash water and moisture, enabling operation in demanding environments. Especially for outdoor, humid, dusty or hygienically critical applications, this high degree of protection eliminates the need for additional control cabinet enclosures and simplifies installation and maintenance.
These frequency inverters are ideal for processes such as:
- Direct mounting on pumps, fans or mixers in outdoor areas
- Applications with high humidity (e.g. food or water technology)
- Retrofit projects where existing enclosures are not to be expanded
- Cleaning-intensive environments (washdown) …
In addition, modular options such as sun protection covers, additional EMC filters, mains chokes or optional remote displays are available to further improve installation and functionality.
Plain text display, intuitive operation, integrated PLC functionality
The ECO series (with features for HVAC) and P2 series (for general mechanical engineering) are equipped with an integrated control panel (keypad with plain text display) and STO (Safe Torque Off) as standard. This greatly simplifies commissioning and ongoing operation – especially for technicians and designers who want to quickly check or adapt results without external tools.
The integrated PLC functionality also allows program sequences to be integrated directly into the inverter and customer-specific warnings, alarms and errors to be displayed in plain text.
Encoderless control for all motor types:
The devices offer the convenience of operating all motor types such as: asynchronous motors (ASM), permanent magnet motors (PM), brushless DC motors (BLDC), and synchronous reluctance motors (SynRM) without encoders.
Single-phase inverters – solution for 1~ electric motors
A unique technical feature within the Invertek range are frequency inverters with single-phase input and single-phase output. These are specially designed to control single-phase asynchronous motors (e.g. capacitor motors with operating capacitors or shaded-pole motors) at variable speeds – an area of application not covered by classic three-phase inverters:
- Optidrive E3 Single Phase – for supply voltages of 110–240 V, power ranges typically up to approximately 1.1 kW/1.5 hp
- Designed for applications with smaller pumps, fans, blowers, conveyor lines or other mechanical systems where only single-phase power is available
- Intuitive parameterization via a simple keypad with plain text display
- Maximum flexibility for retrofit conversions or stand-alone machine controls without three-phase mains connection
Supplementary software tools and networking options
With OptiTools Studio, Invertek offers a mobile configuration tool that allows convenient parameterization, diagnostics and documentation via PC or mobile devices. Additional communication and network accessories facilitate integration into higher-level automation environments.
