Four PTO gensets from ZGN series were recently delivered to the fire department in Ravelsbach (Lower Austria). Three gensets with an output of 31kVA and one with 53kVA. The devices have already been subjected to a practical test by members of the fire department and have proved their worth; the fire department is very satisfied. In the event of a blackout, the “Zapfis” are powered by the private tractors of local volunteers.
The PTO generator can demonstrate its advantages as a flexible emergency power generator, especially in the municipal sector, for fire departments and other emergency organizations. As the drive is provided by an existing and well-maintained machine, which can also be used for transportation.
