Divided into two groups, Managing Director Gernot Schandl guided the guests through the company premises and showed them our workshop, our packaging/dispatch office and our warehouse. The farmers were amazed at our storage capacity: we have more than 50,000 motors from 60W to 355kW in stock. Mostly three-phase three-phase motors, but also compact motors, single-phase motors and EX-protected motors as well as many other products can be found. In particular ATEX motors were a topic of conversation, as visitors are convinced that they will become increasingly important in the future. Explosion protection is being taken more seriously today, especially in applications with flammable dust in agriculture.
Presentation of the PTO units
Meanwhile, engineer Herbert Kastner provided the other group with comprehensive information about our self-built PTO units. The various components and special features were discussed with the help of the Zapfi, standing in front of the group. Integrated control and monitoring systems ensure the best voltage quality for operation with sensitive agricultural technology. The insulation monitoring system also provides protection against electric shock in field operation.
Afterwards, the groups were swapped so that all guests could take part in the company tour and receive information about the Zapfis. We rounded off the visit with drinks and still had time to answer any open questions. The visit of the farmers’ association Langenstein – Luftenberg – St. Georgen/ Gusen was a pleasant change from everyday business life. We see the excellent atmosphere as proof that MOLL-MOTOR remains the preferred partner for our agricultural customers, even in times of sales successes with major international companies.
